Krakow FMF 2018 – Festival Program
With 6 months in advance, the Krakow Film Music Festival (Krakow FMF), which is celebrating its 11th edition from Tuesday, May 29th until Tuesday, June 5th, 2018, announced yesterday its full concert program and its first batch of guests.
In the impressive list of guests of this 11th edition, you can find the film director Agnieszka Holland and composers Krzysztof Penderecki, Michael Nyman, Elliot Goldenthal, David Arnold, Atli Örvarsson, Jesper Kyd, Austin Wintory, Chris Drake, Dustin O’Halloran, Hauschka & Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz among others.
The program will include thematic concerts dedicated to Penderecki, to the music of the Polish films, to the music of Almodovar, a gala concert dedicated exclusively to video games, another concert for the music of the monsters in the cinema, as well as the projection of two films with live orchestra: Casino Royale and Beauty and the Beast. That is a total of 10 concerts for an intense week full of activities!
