Oscars 92nd edition – Nominees
Today the nominees for the 92nd edition of the Oscars have been announced. Here you have the entries of the musical categories, each with 5 names in total:
MUSIC – ORIGINAL SCORE
From the eligible 175 original scores, 15 were shortlisted, giving way to the final 5 nominees. Members of the Music Branch vote to determine the shortlist and the nominees. The scores, listed in alphabetical order by film title, are:

- Marriage Story – Randy Newman
- 1917 – Thomas Newman
- Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – John Williams

From the eligible 75 original songs, 15 were shortlisted, giving way to the final 5 nominees. Members of the Music Branch vote to determine the shortlist and the nominees. The 92nd Oscars will be celebrated on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscars also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
