Under the name ‘Novant’Ennio – Una festa per Ennio Morricone’, the famous Italian composer Ennio Morricone will celebrate the proximity of his 90th birthday with a special concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome (Italy).
This concert, which sold out shortly after starting ticket sales months ago, will feature the Orchestra and Choir of the Academy of Santa Cecilia conducted by Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani and Carlo Rizzari.
In the program there will be music by Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovanni and Dario Marianelli, as well as classic and contemporary music from Stravinsky, Petrassi, Sciarrino, and Webern.
