The Cordoba Orchestra, which this year is celebrating its 25th anniversary, will offer next Thursday a free film music concert under the baton of Inma Shara named ‘Film music concert – Immortal Soundtracks’.

The concert is organized by the Cordoba Orchestra with the sponsorship of the Culture Area of the Cordoba City Hall and the Cajasur Foundation, and will be presented by the actor Maximo Ortega.

 

The planned program is as follows:

  • ALFRED NEWMAN – 20th Century Fox Fanfare
  • JOHN BARRY – Out of Africa
  • NICOLA PIOVANI – Life is Beautiful
  • JOHN BARRY – Dances With Wolves (“Concert suite”)
  • ENNIO MORRICONE – Cinema Paradiso (“Love Theme”)
  • KLAUS BADELT & HANS ZIMMER – Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (“He’s a pirate”)
  • VANGELIS – Chariots of Fire
  • MALCOLM ARNOLD – The Bridge on the River Kwai (“March –  Colonel Bogey March”)
  • HENRY MANCINI – The Pink Panther
  • ELMER BERNSTEIN – The Magnificent Seven
  • JOHN WILLIAMS – Star Wars

 

When: Thursday 12th of October 2017 at 8:30 p.m.

Where: Teatro La Axerquia (Cordoba, SPAIN)

Tickets: Free entry until capacity is reached. It’s necessary to collect invitations first at the ticket offices of the Grand Theater.
