Nordic Film Music Days – Ganador premio HARPA 2019

Como ya os adelantamos hace unos días, esta semana se celebró el evento Nordic Film Music Days 2019 en Berlín (Alemania), englobando a compositores del norte de Europa entre los que se encuentran países como: Islandia, Dinamarca, Finlandia, Noruega y Suecia, y durante el cual se hizo entrega del premio HARPA Nordic Film Music Composer Award (ver noticia).

Los ganadores del premio fueron el equipo formado por el compositor Davíð Þór Jónsson y el director Benedikt Erlingsson, por el resultado de su colaboración musical y visual. Según las declaraciones del jurado:

“In film scoring the criteria are never solely musical but also include the creative collision of the craftsmanship of a director and a composer. Hence, specifically this year’s award goes to both the director composer Davíð Þór Jónsson and the director Benedikt Erlingsson, for the distinct and highly original result their collaboration generated both musically and visually. With this Award this year we wish to further encourage the filmmakers to see music as a significant element of the story that elevates the story’s impact and not just as a formulaic ingredient that becomes somewhat important during post-production.”

Los nominados para el HARPA Nordic Film Composer Award 2019 fueron:

Davíð Þór Jónsson (Islandia) – Woman at war / Kona fer í stríð (Benedikt Erlingsson)
Jonas Struck (Dinamarca) – QEDA – Man Divided (Max Kestners)
Timo Hietala (Finlandia) – Laugh or Die (Heikki Kujanpää)
Ola Fløttum (Noruega) – Thelma (Joachim Triers)
Johan Testad – (Suecia) – Goliat (Peter Grönlunds)
