Matrix Live in Prague conducted by Don Davis
Composer Don Davis, creator of the music of the Matrix trilogy among many other works such as Tokyo Ghoul, Jurassic Park III, House on Haunted Hill, Star Trek: The Next Generation or SeaQuest DSV, will conduct his score for Matrix live to picture, at the Kongresové centrum Praha in Prague (Czech Republic) on Saturday 8th of September 2018 at 7:00 pm.
Organized by boha.agency cz and the European FilmPhilharmonic Institute, the event called ‘MATRIX LIVE – Film in Concert’ will offer a huge symphony orchestra and choir to the perform music live while the iconic science fiction movie is projected in HD in a huge screen.
The concert will be performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Don Davis with the Charles University Choir (choir master Jakub Zicha) and soloist of Boni Pueri Boys Choir (choir master Pavel Horák), offering 90 professional musicians in the orchestra and 50 singers in the choir.
There will be a panel discussion at 6:30 p.m. on stage with composer Don Davis before the concert, having the possibility to meet the artist before the show starts. A concert ticket is needed to attend the panel.
