‘Barry Lyndon’ movie in concert
The film Barry Lyndon by Stanley Kubrick, winner of 4 Oscars in 1975 (including best adapted soundtrack), will be screened tomorrow Saturday April 8th – 8 pm at the Kings Theater in New York with live music in a world premiere.
The performance will be in charge of the Wordless Music Orchestra, composed by 50 pieces and conducted by Ryan McAdams. Throughout the 3 hours of the show, in addition to the original Leonard Rosenman’s soundtrack, we will be able to find traditional Irish music and military marches, along with baroque and classical themes by Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach and Paisiello.
