On Saturday, April 1, the music team of the smash new Broadway musical ‘Some Like It Hot – A New Musical Comedy’ will share the process of creating the rave-reviewed score, from the initial song discussions through to the recording of the original cast album. A fascinating behind the scenes tour of the creation of a big new Broadway musical.
With composer and co-lyricist Marc Shaiman, orchestrators Bryan Cater and Charlie Rosen, dance arranger Glen Kelly, music supervisor Mary-Mitchell Campbell, score associate Samuel Hoad, music assistant Chloe Geller, and music intern Alejandro Senior, joined by music producer Scott M. Riesett and moderated by Ed Windels.
