The Orkiestra Symfoniczna Filharmonii Pomorskiej will perform on Friday, April 22, a special concert dedicated to the music of the composer James Horner, giving the Polish premiere of ‘Collage’, the last work he completed before his tragic death.

 

The piece, scored for four French horns and an elaborate multi-colored orchestra, including two pianos, celesta, and xylophone, will be performed by French horns Janusz Stanecki, Wojciech Bryliński, Jarosław Klekotko, and Szymon Kujaciński.

 

The concert, conducted Mykola Diadiura, will have the participation of the Chamber Choir of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz prepared by Magdalena Filipska, and will include music suites from films such as Avatar, Cocoon, Titanic, or Alien. The evening will be hosted by Magdalena Miśka-Jackowska.
