Today, Saturday 25th of January, the 40 musicians of the Babylon Orchester Berlin conducted by Marcelo Falcão, will perform a special concert dedicated to the music composed by Nino Rota for Federico Fellini’s movies, in an event entitled ‘FELLINI 100! Nino Rota Live’, celebrating thus the centenary of Fellini’s birth (20/1/1920).
The program will include music from the movies: Lo sceicco bianco / I vitelloni / La Strada / La dolce vita / Boccaccio / 8½ / Giulietta degli spiriti / I clowns / Amacord / Prova d’orchestra, and as an extra, the music from ‘Il Padrino [The Godfather]’ directed by Francis Ford Coppola, will also be performed.
