On Wednesday, March 8, you will be able to join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and West End guest vocalists at the Royal Albert Hall, for a nostalgic celebration of classic musicals from the golden age of Hollywood, featuring much-loved songs and duets.

 

The concert, conducted by Richard Balcombe, will be presented by Bonnie Langford and will have the following voices: Ricardo Afonso (Vocalist), Anna-Jane Casey (Vocalist), Louise Dearman (Vocalist), Julian Ovenden (Baritone), and the Arts Ed Ensemble Chorus.

 

The program will feature the ever-popular music of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Lerner & Loewe, Jule Styne among others, in a trip down memory lane with unforgettable songs and music from Gypsy, Carousel, My Fair Lady, Anything Goes, Cabaret, Top Hat, The Wizard Of Oz, Oklahoma!, Meet Me In St Louis, Shall We Dance?, Sweet Charity, A Star Is Born, Babes In Arms… and many more!

 

There will also be a special tribute to the music of George Gershwin, including Funny Face, Strike Up The Band, Crazy For You, and An American In Paris.
