Shigeru Umebayashi, the composer of the masterpiece music of the films “2046”, “Flying Daggers”, “In the Mood for Love”, “The Curse of the Golden Flower”, “Hannibal: Rising”, will be in Athens, Greece this Wednesday, September 28, 2022, for a concert that shares with the Greek audience the ultimate aesthetic experience of his music, presenting some world premieres.
His coming to Greece is already an extraordinary literal event, as Shigeru Umebayashi rarely appears in public.
His music will be performed at the Herodesion by the 40-member Athens Philharmonia Orchestra with the participation of the Alex Drakos Ensemble, conducted by the renowned Belgian conductor Dirk Brossé.
