The Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, conducted by Frank Strobel, will present three concerts at the Hall Aux Graines in Toulouse, France, dedicated to Oscar-winning film music. The concert, produced in collaboration with the Europäische Filmphilharmonie, will be hosted by Stéphane Lerouge.

OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION

The seventh art would not reach the same emotional heights without the company of the fourth: when the images of some films fade from our memory, the indelible memory of a melody often remains. Conductor Frank Strobel is one of the greatest alchemists in the demanding art of bringing music and cinema together. With him, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse delves into a wide repertoire, from the 1930s to the present day, with Robin Hood, Lawrence of Arabia, Jaws, The English Patient… One thing these incredibly varied scores have in common: they have all earned their composers the prestigious Oscar for Best Original Score.

Conducted by Frank Strobel and presented by Stéphane Lerouge. Concert in collaboration with EUROPÄISCHE FILMPHILHARMONIE.
