Legendary composer John Williams turns 90 years old next month, and the NDR Radiophilharmonie led by Frank Strobel celebrates this event with a selection of his most famous soundtracks, in two concerts to be held at NDR Großer Sendesaal in Hannover, hosted by Friederike Westerhaus.

 

John Williams has been making cinema history for more than half a century, working with directors such as Hitchcock, Spielberg and Lucas, but also composing music for television and the Olympic Games. The concerts will include music from “Jaws”, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, “ET”, “Catch Me If You Can”, “JFK”, “Schindler’s List”, “Star Wars” and others.
