Alexandre Desplat conducts the Orchestre de Paris in an exciting anthology of his finest scores: a program that illustrates the composer’s singular trajectory in the Hollywood landscape, alternating – from Terrence Malick, Greta Gerwig, David Fincher, Wes Anderson to Guillermo del Toro – between independent cinema and blockbusters.

An Oscar winner for his scores to The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) and The Shape of Water (2018), Alexandre Desplat passionately continues the tradition of great French composers in Hollywood.

This program, conceived by Solrey, features original and previously unreleased scores such as The Tree of Life, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Little Women, The Lost King, Argo, Syriana, Pinocchio and The Grand Budapest Hotel, taking us into the musical and dreamlike world of this prolific composer who has left his mark on the Hollywood world with a singular style and an unrivalled art of finding for each work its instrumental color, its identity.
