2026-05-27 – 17:25 h

Today, Wednesday, May 27 at 20h the Teatro Mercadante in Altamura (Puglia, Italy), will host the free concert of the ensemble “I Virtuosi di Puglia”, a formation composed of young talented Apulian musicians, directed by Maestro Paolo Lepore, a reference figure of the Bari music scene and an artist well known in concert and orchestral environments.

On stage, the orchestra will be joined by the soloists Anna Maria Minerva (oboe) and Giuseppe Carabellese (cello), who will enrich the evening with interpretations of great expressive intensity. The music program crosses different eras and languages, ranging from Bach to Rachmaninoff, to the famous compositions of Ennio Morricone, as well as music by the French composer Cyril Morin and opera composer from Bari, Niccolò Piccinni, in a path that will combine the depth of classical tradition with the evocative atmospheres of contemporary and cinematic music.

This concert will also be repeated tomorrow, Thursday, May 28th – 20:30h, at Palazzo Verrone in Bari (Puglia, Italy). Tickets 16€ (link).
