Composer Michael Giacchino and writer and bestselling author Sarah Vowell (also the voice of Violet Parr in the Pixar animated film ‘The Incredibles 2’), will give a conference tomorrow Saturday at the Benaroya Hall in Washington, headquarters of the Seattle Symphony.
The conference, called “The Old and the Dead”, will discuss their shared 1970s-bicentennial childhoods as well as a unique perspective on colonial and pop culture touchstones, armed with an arsenal of personal experiences, fascinating Hollywood anecdotes and unbelievable tales from American history.
The June 2018 opening of ‘The Incredibles 2’ unites them on film, and the conference will also have space for that, showing a very funny clip from the movie.
