The amphitheater of the MSH Dijon (Maison Des Sciences of L’Home de Dijon) will host on June 5-7, 2019 a film music congress entitled ‘Popular cinema and its musicians in France 1939-2018’, which will feature the presence of the composer Vladimir Cosma.

 

Here you have a selection of some points of the program:

  • 5/6/19 – 14: 00h – Inauguration of the event and tribute to Michel Legrand with Philippe Gonin.
  • 5/6/19 – 18:00h – Screening, meeting and signing session with Vladimir Cosma moderated by Séverine Abhervé (Marie Sabbah Agency).
  • 6/6/19 – 14: 00h – Conference about the composer Philippe Sarde by Gérard Dastugue.
  • 6/6/19 – 15: 30h – From the cinema to the concert halls. The example of Vladimir Cosma, Michel Legrand and Eric Serra by Julie Mansion Vaquié.

Additionally, the MSH Dijon is hosting a free access exhibition entitled ‘Paul Misraki – From Jazz to the screen’, from June 4 to July 9, 2019, dedicated to the figure of Paul Misraki, a prolific composer who delivered more than 180 scores for the screen, and author of songs that remain in the French genetic heritage.
