The 33rd edición of the French festival Músique au Chambertin (17/9 – 3/10/2021), will have this weekend two film music concerts: one performed by Jean-Michel Bernard and the second one by trumpeter Nicolas Folmer.

Friday 24/9/2021 – Music and cinema with Jean Michel Bernard

Jean-Michel Bernard is a great pianist, with a classical training that he quickly extended with his activity to jazz, but also to cinema, where he has been a pianist, arranger, and composer. In this piano concert, he will perform some emblematic soundtracks from the world of cinema, including some well-known themes by Michel Legrand and Ennio Morricone.

Saturday 25/9/2021 – Tribute to Michel Legrand with Nicolas Folmer

Nicolas Folmer, star of the French jazz trumpet scene, had the good idea to pay tribute in 2008 to Michel Legrand, exceptional composer/arranger, brilliant pianist, multifaceted conductor, and inspired singer. Legrand wrote some of the most beautiful melodies, and Nicolas Folmer will share this special jazz tribute with Hungarian pianist Emile Spanyi.
