The French composer Ludovic Bource, author of the Oscar-winning soundtrack to the silent film ‘The Artist’ (2011, dir. Michel Hazanavicius), will play the piano for the 10th anniversary of the movie in a screening of the film on Tuesday, December 28, at La Seine Musicale, with the help of the 80 musicians of the Orchestre Pasdeloup conducted by Ernst Van Tiel.
This date at La Seine Musicale marks the launch of The Artist’s 10th anniversary celebration with the kick-off of the film’s 2022-2023 international cine-concert tour with a single exclusive date in France (the tour will then play in Taiwan, London, Moscow, Berlin, Brussels…).
