On Tuesday, July 2nd, Eimear Noone will conduct the BBC Concert Orchestra in a free-attendance studio concert of inspirational video game music.

 

BAFTA Games Award-winning composer Jessica Curry curates and presents the concert, which will have her music from Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther, alongside Eimear Noone’s extracts from World of Warcraft.

 

The program will also feature pieces by other acclaimed gaming composers such as Nobuo Uematsu, Olivier Derivière and Jeremy Soule, with music from games like Destiny 2, Final Fantasy X or Kingdom Hearts.

 

This concert will be recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Wednesday, July 3rd in the show ‘Afternoon Concert’. Concert tickets are free and strictly non-transferable, and photographic proof of ID must be shown at the entrance.
