Great news for film music fans, 93-year-old Maestro John Williams is working on Steven Spielberg’s next movie; a movie to be released on June 12, 2026, making this their 30th collaboration together.
The news was announced in an event at The Julliard School in New York dedicated to John Williams (read more), where Julliard director Damian Woetzel said that John Williams is in Los Angeles doing what he does “he is working with Steven Spielberg on the next movie. And that is something to be happy about.”
Most of the details of the movie are being kept secret for the moment, but we know that the working titles are “The Dish” / “Disclosure”, and that the cast includes Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell, with a screenplay is by David Koepp (Jurassic Park).
