Today, Saturday, June 20, 2020, a masterclass organized by ASMAC – American Society of Music Arrangers and Composer will be held online, with composers/orchestrators Penka Kouneva, Ron Goldstein & Timothy Williams, moderated by composer Hummie Mann.
With the title ‘Focus On Orchestration’, this in-depth masterclass will cover a wide range of topics that apply in today’s market place, discussing working with composers and staying true to their intentions. Subjects covered will include the difference between orchestrating for live and recording, various orchestration techniques, ongoing score study and research, understanding the most effective use of multiple pass orchestration, what an orchestrator brings to the party, and much more.
