Today, Saturday, June 20, 2020, a masterclass titled ‘James Horner’s Apollo 13 with Steve Bramson’ will be held online, organized by ASA – Academy of Scoring Arts.
There, orchestrator Steve Branson will study in detail James Horner’s score for ‘Apollo 13 (1995)’ on the 25th anniversary of the movie. Steve Bramson, who was Horner’s orchestrator on this film, has selected six cues from the movie and will take apart Horner’s work to find out exactly how it was put together. He will also contribute his insights on the score, as well as the process of working alongside Horner to deliver and prepare the score that millions have enjoyed.
