On Saturday, September 28th, the Musco Center for the Arts will host the event ‘Pixar in Concert’, where a live orchestra, featuring professional musicians playing side by side with Chapman University student musicians, will perform the scores of more than 14 Pixar films, offering a high-definition, multi-media family show.

The program will include the music of well-known movies such as: Cars, WALL-E, Ratatouille, A Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc. or Brave, created by composers Randy Newman, Patrick Doyle, Thomas Newman, and Michael Giacchino.

There will be a pre-show discussion and a Q&A on film animation with Michael Giacchino (composer) and Mark Andrews (director, writer and story artist at Pixar Animation Studios), moderated by professor William Kroyer. Chapman University students and faculty with valid ID may attend the pre-show event. The public may attend only if they have purchased tickets to the concert.
