The sports film ‘Rudy (1993)’, for which Jerry Goldsmith composed the music, and which had its world premiere in concert in November 2018 in Jacksonville (Florida) (read news) will come to Los Angeles today.
There, the 80-piece Hollywood Chamber Orchestra conducted by Justin Freer will perform Jerry Goldsmith’s complete iconic score live while ‘Rudy (1993)’ (directed by David Anspaugh, written by Angelo Pizzo and starred by Sean Astin) is projected on a massive 40-foot HD screen, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the movie.
As a special event, at 20:00h there will be a pre-show panel with special guests Sean Astin, David Anspaugh, Angelo Pizzo and Rudy Ruettiger himself, moderated by Tim Greiving, and free for ticketholders. Rudy In Concert has been created by CineConcerts in partnership with Sony Pictures.
