It seems that ‘Superman in Concert’ doesn’t get to ‘take off’. Its world premiere, initially announced for May 16th and 17th, 2020 in Lucerne, Switzerland, performed by the City Light Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anthony Gabriele (read more), had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic (read more), planning a new date for Friday, January 15th, 2021 (read more).

Unfortunately, the complex public health situation of the last months in Switzerland, has made the government ban all events until January 22, 2021, leaving once again this world premiere in the air, without a new date scheduled.

POSTPONED – «SUPERMAN» LIVE AT KKL!

On December 11, 2020, the Federal Council decided that events are prohibited until at least January 22, 2021 due to the Covid situation. As a concert organizer, we are therefore forced to postpone the «Superman» – in Concert concert from January 15, 2021 at the KKL Luzern to an as yet undetermined date. The concert tickets for the performances planned in May 2020 and January 2021 remain valid. We will inform you of the new date as soon as possible.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you good health and a peaceful Advent.

Note that the Royal Albert Hall in London had ‘Superman in Concert’ scheduled for October 27, 2020 (read more), but was also forced to postpone it (read more), being currently set for Saturday, March 27, 2021 (read more).

Will this be the definitive one? Will London or will Lucerne celebrate the world premiere of ‘Superman in Concert’ in 2021? Only time will tell!
