The Game Awards 2018, the world’s largest celebration of the video game industry, took place on Thursday, December 6 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles (CA, USA), winning the video game God of War the title of best game of the year over Red Dead Redemption 2, favorite in all polls.
In the section of best soundtrack/music, the winners were Woody Jackson / Daniel Lanois for Red Dead Redemption 2, beating the fabulous soundtracks composed by Bear McCreary for God of War or Joe Hisaishi for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom among others.
