‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy in concert at the Ravinia Music Festival

Ravinia Music Festival, one of the oldest in North America that began in 1904 in Ravinia Park (Highland Park, Illinois), organizes every year more than 140 musical events throughout the summer, and this weekend will be dedicated to the screening of the three films of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ with live orchestra and choirs.

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Ludwig Wicki along with the Chicago Children’s Choir, Chicago Chorale and The Lakeside Singers, in addition to the participation of Soprano Kaitlyn Lusk, will perform live the music to the screening of the trilogy of ‘The Lord Of the Rings’ with the following schedule:
