Danny Elfman’s original score for Tim Burton’s movie ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’, will come back to life this week in the UK & Ireland in its European premiere, having the special participation of Danny Elfman performing his role of Jack Skellington.
Elfman will be joined by original cast members Catherine O’Hara as Sally, and Ken Page as the voice of Oogie Boogie, in a show where the movie will be screened in HD, synchronized with the music.
The first event was held on Monday 2nd at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow (UK) performed by Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and will be held on Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th at the SSE Arena Wembley in Wembley (UK) performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and on Sunday 8th at the 3Arena in Dublin (Ireland) performed by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. All the concerts will be conducted by John Mauceri.
