UPDATE (19/5/2021): Sold out. Digital concert option added.

The Bergen International Festival (26.05 – 09.06.2021) will celebrate a video games music concert on Saturday, May 29, 2021, entitled “Let’s Play!” performed by the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Eímear Noone.

The program will have music from games such as Zelda, World of Warcraft, Assassin’s Creed, and Pokémon among others, and will include video mapping performed by light and video artist Philipp Geist.

On the podium with Noone stand four of the greatest conductor talents in Norway: Guro Haugli, Daniel Reith, Hannah Andersen, and Aage Richard Meyer, all participants in Dirigentforum (Conductor Forum), a talent development program where young conductors learn from the best.

The whole experience will be filmed for a documentary that will be shown on NRK this autumn.
