Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive will celebrate today ‘Star Wars Day – May 4th’, with an online event entitled ‘Star Wars: Across Generations – Part II’, featuring faculty members Angel Velez, William Ross, Conrad Pope and alumnus & orchestra conductor Rafael Enrique Irizarry, as they discuss the iconic music from the Star Wars franchise.
The event will have a list of very special guests:
- David Cooper (principal horn, Chicago Symphony Orchestra)
- Benito Diaz (principal horn, Orquesta Sinfónica de Puerto Rico)
- Jennifer Montone (principal horn, The Philadelphia Orchestra)
- Jeff Nelsen (horn, Canadian Brass)
- members of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra
- and a surprise musical group/performance!
