Emmy Award-winning conductor and composer Jeff Beal provides a brand new score for Buster Keaton’s classic silent black & white film ‘The General’ (1926), which will have its world premiere next week, performed by the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) and conducted by Jeff Beal, with Julie Andersen as chairperson.
The event will take place at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, a gorgeously restored 1927 Spanish Gothic movie palace at the heart of downtown’s revitalized Broadway Theatre district of Los Angeles, and there still some tickets available for this special night.
