BAFTA 71st edition – Winners

Yesterday, Sunday 18th of February, the 71st edition of the BAFTA awards was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, which brings together personalities from the film, television and video games industries in the UK.

 

The winner of the night was the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri with 5 awards, followed by The Shape of Water with 3.

 

Composer Alexandre Desplat won the award for the best original music, getting this way his third BAFTA, and adding another victory to the one he had recently in the Golden Globe, making clear that he has many options for the Oscars that will be celebrated in a couple of weeks.
