Concerts ‘Maestro of the Movies: The Music of John Williams’ with David Newman and John Williams
The traditional annual John Williams’ celebration concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Ángeles (CA, USA), entitled ‘Maestro of the Movies: The Music of John Williams’ will be held on August 30th, 31st, and September 1st, 2019.
The concerts, that this year won’t be conducted by John Williams, will be performed by the LA Phil under the baton of David Newman, and will be hosted by maestro Williams.
John Williams’ history with the Hollywood Bowl is legendary, and this year, maestro Williams will introduce a memorable evening of his movie music performed with film clips, where we will find emblematic selections from Star Wars, E.T., Jurassic Park, and Saving Private Ryan among others.
