Krakow FMF 2021 – May: Online & August: Live!
Krakow Film Music Festival has announced the plans to celebrate their 14th edition this year: 27-30 May 2021 it will be online, and 28-29 Aug 2021 it will be celebrated live in Krakow, Poland, offering a total of 6 conferences and 4 concerts.
We’ll bring you the detailed information in a full article soon, but meanwhile, these are the highlights you need to know:
14th Krakow FMF – Online (27-30 May 2021)
Starting on Thursday, May 27th, the festival will celebrate the FMF Audiovisual Forum online on PlayKrakow streaming platform, covering topics such as “Faces of creativity”, “Revenue, Royalties and Rights”, “The Future of orchestras in film music world” or “Festivals’ roundtable”, with renown guests like Łukasz Targosz, Atanas Valkov, Maciej Zieliński, Richard Bellis, Miriam Cutler, Carlos Rafael Rivera, John Lunn, Diego Navarro, Richard Kraft, Thomas Mikusz or Ray Costa, among many others.
The festival will also celebrate a very special new edition of the ‘Cinema Chorale’ concert, performed on Sunday, May 30th, by the Polish Radio Choir conducted by Maria Piotrowska-Bogalecka from the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine.
14th Krakow FMF – Live (28-29 Aug 2021)
The festival will resume live events in August, bringing us three concerts:
- FMF Gala in three seasons on 28.08.2021 performed by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by Katarzyna Tomala & Diego Navarro.
- FMF4Kids: Agi Bagi – concert with music and songs from the story on 08.2021
- The best of John Barry on 29.08.2021 performed by the FMF Youth Orchestra conducted by Monika Bachowska.
