Tanglewood 2021 – Honoring John Williams
Tomorrow, Friday, July 23, the Boston Pops Orchestra conducted by Keith Lockhart will give a very special concert in Tanglewood entitled ‘Honoring John Williams’, fully dedicated to the music of the maestro John Williams.
This concert will allow experiencing a rare and intimate soundscape of modern cinema’s greatest music, featuring scores such as the iconic “Imperial March” from Star Wars or rarities like “Stargazers” from E.T., accompanied by exclusive filmed interviews of the world’s most beloved film composer, telling the stories behind his music and career.

And as we already told you before, on Saturday, July 24, maestro John Williams will be back on stage together with violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, also in Tanglewood, to perform the world premiere of ‘Williams’ Violin Concerto No.2’.
