Titanic and The Lord of the Rings in concert
Barcelona is lucky because soon will be able to enjoy the screening of the film Titanic, while the music of James Horner is played live.
Under the name Titanic Live, and music by the Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra and choir Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió, the film with more than 130 musicians and singers on stage, will be represented, 14, 15 and 16 of October in the Auditorium of Barcelona.
Conductor Ernst van Tiel will be in charge of the orchestra, with soprano Clara Sanabras and Eric Rigler in the bagpipe.

On the other hand, although recently Howard Shore was in the news for attending Tenerife under Fimucité 10 now his music for The Lord of the Rings – The Two Towers, will be played in 3 concerts scheduled for February 2017 at the Auditorium of Barcelona (days 10, 11 and 12 of February).
No details yet of the cast that will perform the score, except the director, Ludwig Wicki, who is used to conduct films in concert throughout Europe, such as Jurassic Park, Aliens, Amadeus, Back to the Future or Indiana Jones between others.
