Tour ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ – New cities for 2019
As we already advanced last month of July after the press conference offered by Hans Zimmer in Madrid, which was held on the occasion of the only stop this summer of the tour ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ at the Teatro Real, three new cities have been added in 2019 to the tour in Spain and Portugal (Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon), to which we must now add a fourth city: Dortmund (Germany).
‘The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration’ presents Zimmer’s compositions for large orchestra in contrast to what has been seen on ‘Hans Zimmer Live’, being a completely new and different audio-visual concert experience. Gavin Greenaway is the musical director, who will also conduct the Symphony Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus and the Belarusian Television and Radio Choir.
Hans Zimmer has personally participated in the creation and preparation of the contents for the concerts, and although he will not be physically present in the tour (unless he decides to make a special appearance), the show includes several of his regular collaborators such as the Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Gerrard or the musicians Pedro Eustache and Lucy Landymore.
These are the four new stops for 2019:
