World Soundtrack Awards 2020 – VIDEODROOM

Wednesday 14/10/2020 – 19:00-19:50h – The Space Between (Katharina Smets / Ingrid Leonard / Inne Eysermans) – Szum (Noise)

The Space Between rolled up their sleeves to redo the experiments pioneered by the Polish Radio Experimental Studio – PRES, a little island of artistic freedom in the turbulent years of the 60s, 70s and 80s in Poland. The result is ‘SZUM (noise)’, a transmedia performance with futuristic synthesizer creations.

This hypnotic documentary from director Godfrey Reggio, ‘Koyaanisqatsi: Life out of Balance’, will be shown in its entirety, accompanied by a specially-composed live score by Chantal Acda (Isbells, Marble Sounds) and Vooruit resident Eric Thielemans.
