Multiple award-winning composer, conductor, and pianist Joe Hisaishi, will be celebrating 35 years of animation movies created by Japanese Studio Ghibli, with two very special concerts held at The SSE Arena Wembley in Wembley (UK) on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, 2020 – 19:30h.
The concerts, entitled ‘Joe Hisaishi Symphonic Concert: Music from the Studio Ghibli Films of Hayao Miyazaki’ will include montages and music from some of the most popular Studio Ghibli movies, being the scores performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by maestro Joe Hisaishi -who will also play the piano- , and having the voices of the Crouch End Festival Chorus.
This unique concert experience, never seen before in the UK, will celebrate the timeless collaboration between composer Joe Hisaishi and director Hayao Miyazaki, who have worked together for over thirty years.
