Oscar 90th edition – Nominees

Today, Tuesday 23rd of January 2018, the nominees for this year’s Oscars have been announced, which are already in their 90th edition, where the movie The Shape of Water is the favorite with 13 nominations, followed by Dunkirk with 8 nominations and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri with 7.

The Oscars are annual awards given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) of the United States, in recognition for the excellence of professionals in the film industry, being widely considered the highest honor in the world of cinema.

 

These awards are divided into a total of 24 categories, highlighting the following at a musical level:

The ceremony, which will be held on Sunday, March 4th – 5pm at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood & Highland Center (Los Angeles – California), will be hosted again by TV presenter and comedian Jimmy Kimmel, and will be broadcast live by ABC Television Network, being present in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
