World Soundtrack Awards 2018 – Carter Burwell

World Soundtrack Awards film music festival, that celebrates its 18th edition on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 in Ghent (Belgium), has just announced today the central guest for this year: Carter Burwell.

 

In his honor, World Soundtrack Awards will host the very first concert dedicated to Carter Burwell’s film work on Wednesday 17th of October – 20:00h at Capitole Gent (Ghent) where the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Dirk Brossé will perform his original scores accompanied by film clips on the big screen in a 3 hour concert (intermission included).

 

The concert will also feature the music and the presence of Nicholas Britell, Academy Award-nominated composer, pianist and producer, who won the ‘Discovery of the Year’ award last year at the WSA for his music for the film ‘Moonlight’.

VIP tickets (128€), include a reception after the concert plus access to the meet & greet session with all the winners and nominees.
