On August 8th and 9th, the 1st edition of the Puerto Sherry Classic Festival Nights summer festival will be held, organized by the Excelentia Foundation, offering 2 concerts in Puerto Sherry (Puerto de Santa María, Spain), being the first one dedicated to film music.
The concert to be celebrated on Wednesday, August 8h, is named “The Best Hollywood Movies”, and will be performed by the Royal Film Concert Orchestra conducted by José Luis López Antón, with a program that will include music from memorable films such as Ben-Hur, Out of Africa, Gone With The Wind, Cinema Paradiso, Legends of the Fall, Dancing With Wolves, Casablanca, The Lord of the Rings, The Magnificent Seven or The Mission.
The concert to be celebrated on Thursday, August 9th, is named “Spanish Night and The Concert of Aranjuez”, and will be performed by the Santa Cecilia Classical Orchestra, including themes from Zarzuela, Sarasate, Baccarisse, as well as the ‘Concierto de Aranjuez’.
