Winner of the 2nd Edition of the Juan Gil Family Estates International Soundtrack Composition Prize
Last weekend, the jury formed by the conductor Constantino Martinez-Orts, the Spanish composers Lucio Godoy and Roque Baños, the representative of the winery Juan Gil Vera, and chaired by the British composer Patrick Doyle, decided that the 32-year-old Georgian composer Ana Kasrashvili was the winner of the 2nd edition of the International Soundtrack Composition prize organized by Juan Gil Family Estates.
This prize is the most important in its category, having the highest endowment in the world for a contest of this type with 50.000 € to the winner!!
Ana Kasrashvili will have the opportunity to premiere the short film ‘Essence’ with her music at the concert of the Film Symphony Orchestra (FSO) at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium in Murcia (Spain), next Thursday 15th of November, where the music will be recorded live. During the course of the concert, the award will be presented to the winner, in the presence of the jury and in presence of recognized people of the region, related to culture and cinema.
