3rd edition of the ‘Arena Festival: Film & Music’ in Poland
The 3rd edition of the ‘Arena Festival: Film & Music’, which is being held at the Expo Mazury venue in Ostroda (Poland) from Friday 28th till Sunday 30th of June, includes in its program 3 concerts dedicated to different genres within the world of Soundtracks, as well as various meetings with composers.
The concerts will be performed by the Orkiestra Symfoniczna Filharmonii Warmińsko-Mazurskiej conducted by Piotr Sułkowski, with Magda Miśka Jackowska hosting them. Among special guest composers, you will be able to find Henryk Kuźniak, Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz, and Paweł Górniak.
Today, Friday 28th of June at 19:00h, the concert will be dedicated to Film Music Songs, with the TreVoci Trio joining the orchestra to perform pieces such as ‘I don’t want miss a thing’ from the movie Armageddon, ‘Nella fantasia’ from the movie The Mission , ‘New York, New York’ from the movie New York , ‘Moon River’ from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s, or ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Writing’s on The Wall’ from James Bond movies.

Tomorrow Saturday 29th of June at 18:00h, the concert will be dedicated to Fairy Tale Music, with the voice of Aurelia Luśnia joining the orchestra to perform pieces such as ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ from the movie Pinocchio, ‘Almost There’ from The Princess and the Frog, ‘This is me – Here I am’ from the movie The Greatest Showman, ‘Over the rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz or ‘Think of me’ from The Phantom of the Opera.

On Sunday 30th of June at 19:00h, the concert will be dedicated to World’s Film Music and will have the presence and the music of composer Paweł Górniak, who will give a world premiere in concert of the soundtrack he composed for the Netflix TV series Death Love Robots – episode Fish Night.
Other pieces included in the program will be Kamerdyner movie suite by Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz, Seksmisja and Vabank i Vabank movies suite by Henryk Kuźniak, Beauty and the Beast – Alan Menken, Jurassic Park – John Williams, Superman – John Williams, Lord of the Rings – Howard Shore, Forest Gump Suite – Alan Silvestri, or The Seven Magnificent – Elmer Bernstein.
