Pascal Gaigne – Interview – Urrutiko Arimak/Urruneko azalak

On Thursday, October 28, a new concert work by composer Pascal Gaigne was premiered in Donostia-San Sebastián (Spain), performed by the Basque National Orchestra – Euskadiko Orkestra, conducted by Jaume Santonja (read more).

 

Next week the concert will visit Vitoria-Gasteiz, Bilbao, and Pamplona, with a double program in each of the cities, performing a total of 6 shows.

 

SoundTrackFest was with Pascal Gaigne last week, and had an exclusive video-interview, in which he talked about this work, its origin and the commission, the complexities of the project, what were his ideas, and what can be enjoyed by those who go to the concerts.
