The Academy of Scoring Arts – ASA has organized an online event on Sunday, March 14 for an exclusive look at the music of the movie ‘Coming 2 America’ with composer Jermaine Stegall. He will discuss his approach to this iconic property, how he honored the sound of the classic original, and how he brought his unique perspective to the new chapter, talking about some of the cues, study how they were put together, and look at how they work to picture.
In addition to this event, the Academy of Scoring Arts – ASA has also put together a separate Watch Party for ‘Coming 2 America’ on Thursday, March 11 at 19:00h Pacific Time. An opportunity to gather on Amazon Prime and use the Watch Party feature to watch the movie in sync with each other, and use the chat in the sidebar to share thoughts, comments, and laughs.
