Across seas and mountains, rivers, glaciers and deserts… in the centenary year of the BBC the Proms brings a musical celebration of the world-famous BBC Studios Natural History Unit through the ages – from David Attenborough’s early adventures to the present, in a concert performed by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ben Palmer.

 

This spectacular audio-visual journey features soaring scores by composers including Hans Zimmer, George Fenton, Jacob Shea, David Fleming, Bleeding Fingers Music & more, with music from around the globe, as well as the sounds of nature, breath-taking imagery, and spoken word, presented by Chris Packham & Megan McCubbin.
