David Newman honored at the next concert of the American Youth Symphony

This Sunday, November 19th at 4:30 pm, the American Youth Symphony (AYS) conducted by Carlos Izcaray will offer the film E.T. The Extra-terrestrial in concert, in an evening that will begin half an hour earlier with a talk with David Newman moderated by Jon Burlingame.

After the movie, at 7:00 p.m., there will be a celebration dinner to honor David Newman and Steven Linder, members of the AYS and pioneers of the live-to-film concert movement.
